How to make Amazon returns at Kohl's

Ah, Kohl's. It’s the retail wonderland where you can find everything from fashion to home decor. And now, you can even make Amazon returns while you’re picking up your favorite bath bomb, because Kohl's has partnered with Amazon to make your returns easier than ever.

Here’s how to get started:

  1. Register your return online

First things first, head to Amazon.com and initiate the return in the ‘Your Orders’ section of the site. Simply click on the items you want to return or replace, and select a reason for why you’re sending them back. For most items, you’ll then be able to instantly submit your return.

Just note that if you bought your items from an independent Amazon seller, you'll only see the option to ‘Submit return request’, as the seller will need to review your return request before they issue a refund or replacement. This normally happens pretty quickly, but if you don't receive a response within two business days, you can submit an A-to-Z Guarantee claim.

Lastly, make sure you select the ‘Kohl's Drop-off’ option when you’re choosing your return method. Amazon will then email you a QR code to use in the Kohl’s store. No printer needed!

  1. Pack it up

Next, gather the items you want to return, along with the original receipt. If possible, repack them in their original boxes.

  1. Take your package to Kohl’s

Take your prepped package to your nearest Kohl's, hand it to the team at the counter, and show them the QR code on your smartphone. From there, the team has got things covered, as Kohl’s will finish packing up then label and ship your return for free.

Don’t forget to stack your Kohl’s coupons, Yes2You Rewards and Kohl’s Cash for maximum savings!

And for even easier returns than at Kohl’s…

Did you know there’s an even easier way to return your Amazon items? A way that doesn’t require you to head to any post office, Kohl’s store or drop-off point at all?

How to make Amazon returns at Whole Foods

If you're into fresh produce and organic goodies, you're probably already a fan of Whole Foods. But here's another reason to love them even more - they offer a return service for Amazon purchases too!

Here’s how you can take advantage of this new offering:

  1. Register your return online

As with Kohl's, start the return process on the Amazon website, choose your return reason, submit your return, and be sure to select Whole Foods as your drop-off location. Amazon will then email you a QR code for a Whole Foods employee to scan.

  1. Get your parcel ready

Only a few Whole Foods stores in the US offer no-box returns, so your safest bet is to pack your parcel securely yourself.

  1. Head to Whole Foods with your parcel

All you have to do now is take your packaged Amazon return to Whole Foods and show your QR code to a team member at either the customer service desk or the return kiosk. And voila! Whole Foods will handle your return from there.

Making Amazon returns at UPS

If you’ve got a UPS drop-off point near you, you’re in luck, as UPS will not only pick up and ship your Amazon returns from the dropoff point - it also packages and labels your parcels for you.

Here’s how you can use UPS to get your Amazon returns sorted:

  1. Submit your return online

Again, log on to the Amazon website and follow all the same steps as above. But this time, choose ‘UPS’ as your return drop-off method. You’ll have the choice to either take your return to a UPS drop-off point (the ‘UPS Dropoff’ option) or have a UPS driver come to your house and pick up the package at a specific day and time (the ‘UPS Pickup’ option). Most Amazon returns via UPS are free of charge, but if you choose the pickup method, you’ll have to pay a fee. With both options, you’ll be able to choose whether you want to print and attach the return label yourself or if you’d prefer to receive a QR code.

  1. Pack it up

Get your returns together, and securely pack them up in a bag or box.

  1. Drop your package off

Depending on whether you chose the UPS dropoff or pickup option, you can either find your nearest UPS dropoff point on the UPS website and leave your package there, or make sure you’re at home at the specified time for when the UPS workers come to take your package off your hands.

You’re ready to start returning

And voila! You’re ready to make your Amazon returns at Kohl’s, Whole Foods and UPS.

And remember - you can eliminate parcel drop-offs entirely by signing up for ReturnQueen. We’ll pick up your items straight from your door - that’s one more thing off your to-do list!
